Eligibilty Requirments

Before opening your business account, does your business qualify for membership at PCU? Businesses qualify in one of two ways:

1. Automatic eligibility is granted when the a business office is located in Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, or Washington county.
2. Or businesses with an office location in Minnesota or western Wisconsin can qualify for membership by making a one-time donation to the John Miller Scholarship fund (Minimum $5.00).

At Account Opening:
  • All account signers must present a valid, government issued I.D.
  • A valid Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number (EIN) is required for the business
  • Depending on the type of business, additional documentation is required. To improve the efficiency of the business account opening process, please review the above checklist prior to opening the account.

It provides the flexibility of choosing one-time, manual, or automatic payments and the payment is withdrawn from the account that you designate. Bill pay is easy to use, confidential, and free, even for business accounts. No need to mail your bills again - enroll in PCU Online Banking today to get started.

PCU Online Banking

Access your account information online, anytime. It's convenient and available 24 hours a day.

For your protection, your credit union uses a technology called "Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Encryption" to secure your online banking sessions. This process safeguards your accounts from possible intruders and ensures that no one has access to your accounts but you and those you authorize. This great service is free!

Tax Payment System

EFTPS is the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System provided free by the U.S. Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue System (IRS) and Financial Management Service (FMS). It is also offered free through PCU. This system enables business and individual taxpayers* to pay their federal taxes electronically using the Internet or phone. Its convenient, secure and time-saving!
  • EFTPS is available by Internet or phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Schedule all of your Form 1040ES payments up to 365 days in advance, or make weekly or monthly payments if you prefer.
  • It has an easy to use, step-by-step process that tells you what information you need to make any federal tax payment.
  • Access up to 16 months of your EFTPS payment history online or by phone.
  • EFTPS uses the highest level of security available online so you can be assured knowing your information is protected.
  • Enroll online or contact PCU to obtain and complete IRS Form 9779 (Business Enrollment Form) or IRS Form 9783 (Individual Enrollment Form), and then mail it to the EFTPS Enrollment Center.
* Businesses can use EFTPS to pay all business taxes including corporate, excise and employment taxes. Individuals who make more than one tax payment per year, particularly installment or Form 1040 estimated payments will find EFTPS very convenient.
