PC ACCE$$ Secure Login FAQs

The PC ACCE$$ login page is located at:

In January 2007, the login process changed in three ways:

  • Login has become a multiple step process (detailed below). Instead of one screen where you enter your User ID and Password, you will now enter your User ID and a random Security Code.
  • During the initial enrollment process, you will be asked to enter five Security Questions and corresponding answers, as well as a Security Image (more details below).
  • During subsequent logins, you may be asked to answer a Security Question. You will then be asked to enter your Password and to verify your Security Image (details below).

The Security Code is an extra security measure used to prevent fraudulent parties/automated computer systems from randomly selecting account numbers.

The Security Image is used to help you identify PC ACCE$$ as a legitimate site for PCU. On the Security Image login page, type in your password as usual (your password did not change during the Secure Login enrollment process). Then look at the Security Image to verify that it is a graphic of the word or phrase you chose during enrollment. If it is not, you may be at the wrong website and SHOULD NOT proceed with logging in. Instead, call PCU at 651-770-7000 or 800-247-0857.

You will set up five Security Questions and answers during the enrollment process. These questions and answers are unique to you. You will be asked one of the five randomly selected questions each time you login to a non-registered computer (more details below about registering your computer).

Q. Why is it important to make the PC ACCE$$ login process more secure?

While the chances of identity theft or monetary loss are slim, there are active malicious entities on the Internet trying to access other people's accounts and personal information. One of the most popular methods of fraud is impersonating individuals during the login process. Secure Login, commonly know as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), will make it exponentially more difficult for fraudulent parties to access your personal information.
